For clinic owners

Your clinic. Your name.
Your timing.

Grow it, lighten the load, or sell it and step back. Nearly forty years of running physiotherapy clinics in Québec, and we know what it takes to look after what you built.

Franchise. Partner. Succession.

Three ways to own
a clinic with us.

Some want to grow, some want to breathe, some want to hand over. Start with the one that sounds like you.

01Franchise

Keep all of it. Borrow the rest.

You own 100% of your clinic, with the Action Sport Physio name, our systems and the head-office team behind them.

The fees are in the contract, in plain numbers, before you sign.

02Partner

Sell part of it. Keep a piece of the whole.

Sell us a share of your clinic, keep treating your patients, and hold a stake in the whole network as it grows.

We’re still shaping this one, with the first owners who join.

03Succession

Build something that outlasts you.

When you’re ready to step back, we plan it properly: who takes over, when, and how your team and patients are looked after.

Some of our best clinicians would love to own one day. Maybe yours.

How selling works
Thinking about stepping back?

Selling a clinic you built is personal.

Retirement, a change of plans, or no successor in sight. Talk it through quietly, with people who run clinics for a living.

How selling to us works
Quiet
A private conversation first. We sign a confidentiality agreement before you share anything sensitive.
Your terms
Sell all of it or part of it. Leave on an agreed date, or stay and keep treating.
Your legacy
Your clinic can keep its name, and we plan the handover for your patients and your team with you.
What we take off your plate

Nobody opens a physio clinic because they love doing payroll.

Payroll. Bookkeeping. Hiring. CNESST paperwork. Insurer mandates. Google Ads. The lease renewal. Group insurance. The alarm company.

Our head-office team in Pointe-Claire handles these every day for thirty-eight clinics. You get your evenings back, and your patients get more of you.

The part you trained for.

Your clinical judgment. Your patients. Your name on the door, right next to ours.

We don't tell physiotherapists how to treat, and we don't hide who stands behind a clinic. Alain Scheldeman started this company in 1987. His son Patrick runs it today.

Close to home,
anywhere in Québec.

Some patients need hands-on care down the street. Others need a clinician who can see them wherever they are. We do both, under one standard of care.

The people accountable
for the network.

Thirty-eight clinics, one head-office team in Pointe-Claire. These are the people who answer for it.

Patrick Scheldeman

Patrick Scheldeman

President

Patrick is the second generation of the family that built Action Sport Physio, and has spent more than ten years managing its clinics. He began by opening new locations and has since focused the network on growth. Before ASP, he worked at National Bank, and in corporate banking at BMO and Scotiabank, and he holds a BComm in Finance from Concordia's John Molson School of Business. He reads a clinic the way an operator does and its numbers the way a banker does.

His ambition is a network strong enough to stand with the largest in Canada, while the people who run each clinic stay at the heart of it. That means owners who keep running their own clinics with a stronger group behind them, clinicians with a real path to ownership, and patients who can expect the same high standard of care at every ASP door. His job is the long view: where the network grows next, who it grows with, and making sure every owner is stronger for having joined.

Zeina Khawam

Zeina Khawam

Vice-President, Operations

Zeina leads ASP Operations, the head-office team that supports every clinic in the network: HR, finance and accounting, legal, marketing and insurer programs. A nutritionist by training, she knows clinic life from the inside. Her mandate is the system behind the clinics: clear processes, shared standards and well-trained people, so that owners and clinicians can focus on patients instead of paperwork.

David Donnini

David Donnini, pht

Vice-President, Franchise

A physiotherapist by training, David brings extensive experience from one of Canada's national rehabilitation chains, where he saw first-hand what it takes to run a multi-site network well. As Vice-President, Franchise, he coaches ASP's franchise owners to build stronger teams and grow their clinics, and turns what works in one clinic into the standard for all of them.

Vivianne Lei Gantala

Vivianne Lei Gantala

Director of Operations

Vivianne oversees ASP's entire portfolio of corporate clinics: their performance, their teams and the experience every patient has from the moment they walk in. She came up through the network as a regional manager and led its insurer programs before taking on operations. When a clinic joins ASP, she leads its move onto ASP's systems and standards.

Sofia Bahhar

Sofia Bahhar

Network Operations & Special Projects Manager

Sofia is often the first person a future owner speaks with at ASP, and the one who keeps the conversation going long after they sign. She runs the special projects that roll new tools and programs out across all 38 clinics, and makes sure every franchise owner has a direct line to head office.

Beyond the clinic

More than physio,
